Terms of Service

1. Services we provide

We provide garment alterations and repairs with doorstep pickup and delivery throughout Northern Virginia. Services include hemming, resizing, zipper replacement, tears, patches, and specialty work on wedding dresses, prom dresses, suits, uniforms, and curtains.

2. Service area

We currently serve the following Northern Virginia locations: Stafford, Prince William, Fairfax, and Alexandria. Pickup days rotate:

• Monday & Wednesday — Stafford, Prince William
• Tuesday & Thursday — Fairfax, Alexandria
• Friday — production and deliveries

If your ZIP code is outside our published service area, we are unable to accept the booking.

3. Pricing and minimum order

Published prices on the Services page are baseline prices for standard garments and standard alterations. Complex or specialty work is quoted individually.

A $35 minimum order applies to every pickup location. You may combine multiple garments to reach the minimum.

We will confirm total pricing with you before beginning any alteration. Work begins only after you approve the quote.

4. Turnaround time

Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days from pickup to delivery. Rush service may be available on request and carries an additional fee. Wedding dresses, formal wear, and specialty projects may require longer.

5. Fittings

Because we do not operate a storefront, fitting is done either by:

• A short video call at your convenience, or
• A copy-fit garment you provide that already fits correctly.

We will discuss which approach works best for your project at pickup.

6. Delicate and high-value garments

Wedding dresses, vintage garments, delicate fabrics, and items of unusual sentimental or monetary value require additional evaluation before we accept the work. We reserve the right to decline any item we do not feel we can service properly.

7. Payment

Payment is due upon delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept common electronic payment methods. Prices do not include applicable sales tax where required.

8. Cancellations and rescheduling

You may reschedule or cancel a pickup at any time before the pickup window through your Calendly confirmation email. Once alteration work has started, cancellation may incur a fee equal to work already completed.

9. Satisfaction and remakes

If the alteration does not match what was agreed upon, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will correct it at no charge. Fit corrections that fall outside the original scope may be quoted as a new alteration.

10. Limitation of liability

We take great care with every garment. In the unlikely event of damage or loss during service, our liability is limited to the reasonable replacement value of the garment or the cost of the alteration, whichever is lower. We are not liable for consequential or incidental damages.

11. Website use

The content of this website is for informational purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute content without permission. We may update prices, services, and information at any time; the version of these Terms in effect at the time of your booking applies.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Virginia.
