Questions we hear a lot
Q.How does doorstep pickup and delivery work?
Book online, choose your window, and we come to your door on your scheduled day. We inspect the garment, discuss the alteration, take it back to our studio, and return it to your door when it's ready.
Q.Is there a minimum order?
Yes — a $35 minimum per pickup location so we can cover the trip. You can combine multiple garments to reach the minimum.
Q.How long do alterations take?
Standard turnaround is 5–7 business days from pickup. Weddings and complex work may take longer — we always confirm timing before we start.
Q.Do I need to be measured in person?
No. We offer two options: a short video-call fitting, or you can send a well-fitting ‘copy-fit’ garment we can match against.
Q.Where do you serve?
Stafford and Prince William on Mondays and Wednesdays; Fairfax and Alexandria on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Friday is our production and delivery day.
Q.Do you work on wedding dresses and formalwear?
Yes. Wedding and prom dresses, suits, and uniforms are part of our specialty work. Because these need extra care, we quote them individually.
Q.Do I pay before or after the alteration?
You approve the price before we start. We only proceed once you've confirmed.
Q.What if the garment is very delicate or high-value?
We’ll evaluate it carefully at pickup and let you know if it needs special handling or a slightly longer turnaround before we begin.
